Awake Now!

Our story begins in an uneventful afternoon, typing on his computer, our protagonist tries his best not to fall sleep.

It’s an hour past twelve, he just had his lunch but can’t sleep, even though every inch of his body is craving a quick nap.

Had he been working from office, he would have simply had a chat with his colleagues but he’s not in Kansas anymore. He is at home.

While he prefers working from home; he can’t take a nap. But why can’t he sleep for a quick 20 minutes?

Well, what if he misses some important work message? He doesn’t want his manager to think he’s lazy.

But he really really needs some shut eye. Alas, he can’t!

He shouldn’t nap, anyway! Isn’t napping bad for you?

Nope, there’s been numerous studies that suggest that napping actually increases your cognitive performance, reduces frustration, increases your ability to remember facts and figures and of course, it refreshes you!

Okay, I am convinced I would like to take naps, but what about work messages?

Try this simple Android application.

What does it do? It sets an alarm for your important applications.

It does what?

Basically, you select an app you want an alarm for. And whenever you get a notification from that app, this application will play an alarm.

I still don’t get it!

Say you set alarm for Microsoft Teams. Now whenever someone messages you, this app will play an alarm.

So, you can take a nap and this app will wake you up by playing alarm; if there’s a new notification from your work app.
